A fellow microISV’er recently introduced me to a book by 37Signals called “Getting Real”. The book goes against everything we, as software developers were taught and got accustomed to, all the rules about building bigger more complex software with months of planning and documentation out of the window. Getting real explains why building less is better. Less features, less programmers, less documentation etc.

“Every once in a while, a book comes out of left field that changes just about everything. This is one of those books. Ignore it at your peril.”
